I confess. There are two basic reasons that I picked this book up from the Princeton Public Library. OK, three.
1. I was in desperate need of a new novel to read, just for pleasure.
2. I saw the movie Everything is Illuminated, which was based off of Foer's book by the same name, and it became one of my favorite films of 2005.
3. I think that the jacket cover's design (the image at left) is great.
In the pursuit of finding balance and reading normal people's reading (as opposed to odd seminarian reading), I am looking forward to this new reading endeavor. Premise of the book sounds intriguing, it is told by a nine year old. Don't you worry...I'm sure I'll let you know how it goes.
(Has anyone out there read this book yet?)
I'll be curious what you think of it.

I think that the book actually falls into the "odd" rather than "normal" category...but I think that you'll enjoy it. You just have to go along for the ride.

Melissa...'odd' category? That'll be PERFECT for me. :)
