Last night, I opened my bible and read a little from First Timothy, in the Message paraphrase. It was one of those, "Oh, I totally needed that" times. The verse that jumped out at me was First Timothy 1:5
"The whole point of what we're urging is simply love—love uncontaminated by self-interest and counterfeit faith, a life open to God."
Seriously, folks. I want to love others deeply, and through that love, have my life opened even more to the greatness of God.
