My world consists of reading books and writing papers. However, this weekend, I did something manly. I finally changed my headlights. You see, one of them had been out since MAY. So, stubborn as I am, I didn't drive at night over those SIX months, just because I didn't want to change the light. Ha. (To be fair, my car was across the country, not being driven, all summer.)
I know that changing headlights is on the same level of difficulty as oh, say, pumping gas, but I really felt a sense of pride and accomplishment in finally doing it. From walking around Pep Boys, refusing to ask for help so that I could figure it out, to getting my hands all dirty, to successfully removing and replacing the lights...I felt like a dude. Kiiiinda sad, isn't it?
Oh, I took a drive that night, just to bask in the glow of my accomplishment.
Why, congratulations on taking the challenge to a new level!

Good job! I just look around for people to help me out with headlights.

What is funny to me about this post, is that I looked at the headline, but I thought the picture was of diamond earrings until I read it! Wierd! Good work on changing the lights, though!
