They have been growing on me over the past six months. The Be Good Tanyas. Hard to describe their style. Indie/bluegrass/folk/fun from Vancouver, BC. Right now, their song The Littlest Bird off of their Blue Horse album makes me smile. It's a fun spring song on days when spring feels far away from crazy New Jersey. Check it out!
Do you have a spring song right now?
SMW- this reminds me that in Boulder this weekend I saw a Katie Herzig show with a couple other folks that I think you might dig. Matthew Perryman Jones, Jeremy Lister and Sandra McCracken. Sandra in particular was great and is a little bit Patty Griffin which I know you love.

I've been listening to Pink Martini's latest album lately (something like Hold On Little Tomato or something like that). It doesn't remind me of spring so much as it reminds me of summer.
