Hannah Snelling Has a Blog.

I had nothing to do with this.  She finally caved.  After years of blog mockery (yet faithful reading), Hanny finally has a blog.  She has great potential here in the blog world...if she lasts.  ;)

A Timely Reminder...

Expands His Being

All beings
are words of God,
His music,
His art.

Sacred books, we are,
for the infinite camps
in our
souls.

Every act reveals God and
expands His being.
I know that may be hard
to comprehend.

All creatures are doing their best
to help God
in His birth
of Himself.

Enough talk for the night.
He is laboring in me;

I need to be silent
and rest for awhile.
Worlds are forming
in my heart.

New Month. New Banner.

10rust_2 This month's banner is a detail from the picture at right.

As I drove through Cheyenne, WY on the 80 this summer, I was looking for a place to stop and check my email, and in the process, found this beautiful abandoned building across the tracks.  I love the colors and contrasts and lines.

New month.  New banner.  Welcome to March, friends.

A Pseudo Haiku to Apple Computers.

A new hard drive I will get.
Jesse at the mall
May be my new best friend.

(Many of you know the struggles I faced in December and January with my iBook.  It was a rough time.  This week, I've had some similar struggles, where my computer decided to work at the speed of molasses.  So today, for the third time in as many months, I took the Little Jerk (aka my iBook) to the Apple Store, and am getting a new hard drive.  Jesse is my new friend -- a great help.  Thank the Lord for AppleCare, fixing it for free.  Hopefully this will be the end of such struggles for awhile.)

Something new.

It's almost February.  Time for a new look, friends.  Banner picture is a detail of a stained glass window, depicting the Holy Spirit at the baptism of Jesus.  Taken at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox cathedral in Tarpon Springs, FL.

Update on the Great Cleveland Computer Crash of '06.

Surprisingly, I am not as freaked out as I should/could be.  I like that.  If this had happened in the first few weeks of December, I would have fuh-reeeeeeeaked out.  So, thanks Christmas break.  My professors have given me mini-extensions.  However, there is still much to be done.  The evil Apple Empire is doing it's part to fix my little iBook (so they say).  Hopefully I'll  have that little guy back sooner than later.  Until then, I am writing papers in the computer lab.  I think I've been here so long that my chair's seat now perfectly contours the J. Cleveland rear.  Stuff is getting done and will continue to get done.  No worries.

Oh.  I am in love! I've been trying to be more open with my love life, and our relationship is really new, but, here's my first shot at it.  Please click the link below to see a picture.

"Blogs are still dumb."

Old_church_02All last year, my friend Dave said "Blogs are dumb."  Now he says, "Blogs are still dumb."

Apparently, the boy has gone and got himself a blog.  I love it.  Dave is a stud.  He's taken the year off of school and is living in Scotland, serving in a church and living within the community there.  I bet he eats haggus and has tea all the time, too.

Check out the blog.  I bet he'll never post, but still, check it out.

Worlds Are Reforming on Worlds Are Forming

New season, new look for the blog. We'll see how long this one lasts.  I may have a guest banner creator help out for the next round.  Fall is near.
